Erdogan says Turkey will not refuse Russia’s S400 systems despite US pressure

Turkish President said that the United States was free to use any sanctions it liked

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has once again reasserted Turkey’s position that it will not refuse Russian’s S400 missile systems, despite the Unites States’ pressures and position.

“The United States does not understand whom it is dealing with. Your said to send the S-400s back to Russia. But we are not a tribal state, we are Turkey.”

In a direct challenge to the United States and its foreign policy style of imposing sanctions, President Erdogan said: “Whatever the sanctions might be, don’t delay imposing them,” and later added ” Turkey has paid money for US fifth generation F-35 fighter jects but the United States have delivered none.”
