International Criminal Court’s chief prosecutor Karim Khan has announced he is seeking a total of five arrest warrants, each for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Defense Minister Yoav Gallant and three of Hamas leaders namely Yahia el-Sinwar, Ismail Haniya, and Mohamed al-Masri. What’s at Stake?
In an immediate response, the UK criticized the ICC and US Congressman Cotton of Arkansas called it a Kangaroo Court. A deluge of heavier criticism as well as public threats to the ICC and its staff have started being made, with more expected to come.
